So electricity is obviously bad for environment and expensive.
Solar is mostly unreliable, although cheap to set up and free to use obviously.
Gas is the middle man I think, expensive to set up, but cheap to run, not too bad for the environment and reliable, fast to heat up etc.
Solar would also require a strong pump to reach the roof, which I got quoted around \$800 on, from Iwaki.
So has anyone seen aluminium or titanium water heaters around, for less than \$500 bucks? Or at least around that mark?
Either that or do you think it would be very hard to build a gas heater? Aluminium transfers heat well, and I don’t think it would be to hard to just build a heater. Only problem is getting it to turn off when the water reaches the correct temperature.
