FLOAT TANK HEATER QUESTION

I Just bought a second hand floatarium float tank from the trading post. It is old but in good nick. The previous owner said the heating blew up. The heating was under the tank made out of heating coils. (Im no DIY man)He had to rip the insulation out to get to the heater. Now I have to get a new heating unit and insulate the bottom. He has therefore advised me to get a small external heat pump to heat it which would need to be hooked up to everything and run through the jets in the tub. Is this the best way to do it and is it expensive to run? I want to keep it cheap but effective and also easy. He said not to put the coiled heating underneath because if something goes wrong it is a nightmare to get to. So my questions are. What is the best way to heat it? what sort of heater should I buy? And what will it cost me? The tank is made out of fibreglass. I found this heat pump on ebay but I am not sure if it is right? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/140638419523?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649.

Any help is appreciated!

I have attached pics of the tank. Thanks!

I recommend 1000 to 1500 watts of heat via aquarium heaters… I use JBJ heaters in my homegrown tank that is 8 feet long and 6 feet wide.

Be sure not to load salt into the water until the water is quite hot… and even then only load a bit at a time.

I suppose you could use a jacuzzi style heater like that… the i-sopod does…
