I want to build a tank like the Ocean Float Room. I plan on building the base out of fiberglass but am not sure how to heat the water. I would prefer to put a heat source underneath the bottom of the fiberglass but am concerned that the heat won’t transmit through the fiberglass very well. What type of heater should I use? Thanks so much for any advice.

Well, my float-to-relax tank used Aztec radiant heaters to heat through fiberglass. Here are some pics:

The metal heaters could withstand all the weight quite well… waterbed heaters were crushed.
